Video Game World Cup is on the Way

      

                  

                         After 3 years of planning and developing VGWC, it will finally begin on November 10 2014 according to Stephane Cosse, Founder of VGWC. This means that this a the new dawn for 1 billion gamer around world will began a new sense of purpose on video games that had been around a while. A chance to play against best gamers of the world and earn cash; is it’s all about on this Video Game World Cup. The World Cup will be held in New York City on July 3-5 2015.

                          About 20 million gamers will be expected to participate on this event, and they will have a chance to win prizes. A total of 128 gamers per week, per country and per game achieved. A staggering $1 million worth of cheque  will be given to the world champion per game. About $100,000 worth of cheque will be given to the continental champion per game while $10,000 worth of cheque will be game also to the national champion. And also, a cheque worth $1,000 will be given to weekly champion per game on weekly tournament.

                         There are two ways for gamers to qualify for National finals; first is by winning the weekly national tournament and the second is by topping the national gamer ranking of the regular season which will run from November 10, 2014 until May 31, 2015 next year.

                        Each national competition will began every Monday and will end Sunday of the same week. Gamers will compete each other online using their own console or computers and save their session once it is completed. Maximum of 32 teams for multiplayer and 128 gamers per game per week. There is registration fee of $30 for qualifying week and 40% of fund from registration ($12 will be withheld from registration fund) will be added as bonus.

                       After 29-week of regular season, the winners will be invited to compete for national finals, to be held on June 1-21, 2015. The final rounds will be composing of 32 players in eight pools of four teams. The overall national champion in each country will give $10,000 worth of cheque.

                      The winner of national finals will be competing to continental finals on June 22-28, 2015; where one player per game for each participating country. The continental winner will be awarded a cheque worth of $100,000 (as mention).

                     On July 3-5 2015, all of the continental champion will be competing for World Cup that will be held in New York City, the expenses of gamers from air fare to hotel accommodation will shouldered by the organizers. The Venue for World Cup will be announced January 1, 2015.
