Update 3: Across all online services in the system had been restored. The publisher KONAMI says “we have taken all the measures to reduce the burden of our database, this means that the FOB multiplayer can take some time to be restored”. The Publisher of Metal Gear Solid V faces a fourth day of problems in connectivity with their latest game. Since the release last September 1, 2015; Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, KONAMI constantly communicates the fans on social media that are struggling to access on the games’ multiplayer FOB mode. Last Thursday, KONAMI shut down the server, to make their technical maintenance on the game. They made an alert page so that the players will be updated constantly.

The Phantom Pain is more on single-player mode but many critics site a problem on the online connection of the game. Specifically, it allows the player to transfer a data from the game Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. It will give players a valuable new recruit for their mother base. Due frequent timing out on the game, many players failed to transfer over their save data.

Some player’s report that are able to connect online on the game, but a slowdown of the menu’s navigation in the single-player mode.

KONAMI has “deeply apologized” for several downtime of the game.
